MELANIE HOPKINS
Melanie Hopkins, is a North Carolina based producer, graphic designer and video editor inspired by an early fascination with fine art and the classics. After experimenting in various mediums, she began working in collage, repurposing photos, magazine pages and ephemera, and using found objects to create pieces with intricate patterns and interconnecting themes. Also a skilled photographer, Hopkins lets her instinct for color, shape and composition lead the way. She loves the tactile nature of collage – cutting, pasting, molding – and its ability to tell stories.
